You may request deletion of your Apollo Companion account and all associated personal data at any time. There is no waiting period and no fee. We will honor deletion requests within 30 days of receiving a valid request.
In the app (fastest): go to Settings → Account & Data → Delete my account and confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all associated data from our active systems — no waiting period.
By email: alternatively, email us at apollocompanionsupport@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from our active systems:
Our infrastructure maintains automated database backups for system reliability. Residual copies of your data in backups are purged within 90 days of your account deletion. During this window your data exists only in encrypted offline backups and is not accessible through the application.
Community posts and comments are removed from public view immediately upon deletion. However, content you shared publicly may have been seen, copied, or interacted with by other users before deletion — Apollo Companion cannot control third-party copies of publicly visible content.
Aggregate or anonymized statistics derived from your activity (e.g., total platform engagement counts) are not considered personal data and may be retained.
If you claimed an Apollo NFC Build Tag, deleting your account unlinks the tag from your profile. The physical tag and its code remain registered in our system (for anti-fraud purposes) but will no longer display your build information when scanned.
We may retain data beyond the standard timelines when required by law, regulation, or an active legal proceeding. We will notify you if a legal hold prevents timely deletion, to the extent permitted by law.
Deletion from Apollo Companion does not automatically delete data held by third-party services you connected to or interacted through (such as Discord integrations or Shopify). You must contact those services separately to request deletion of any data they hold about you.
