UGC Content License Policy

This policy explains how Apollo Phoenix Ventures LLC handles content created and uploaded by users ("User-Generated Content" or "UGC"), including the license you grant us, what content is prohibited, and how to submit a DMCA copyright takedown notice.

1. What Is UGC?

User-Generated Content includes all content you create or upload to Apollo Companion, including:

• Community posts, captions, and text;
• Photos and images uploaded to posts, your profile, or your banner;
• Comments and replies;
• Builder profile information (bio, display name, social links).

UGC does not include your private build data (parts, notes, garage entries), which is private to your account.

2. Ownership

You retain ownership of your original UGC. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to Apollo Phoenix Ventures LLC.

3. License You Grant Us

By submitting UGC to Apollo Companion, you grant Apollo Phoenix Ventures LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to:

• Host, store, copy, and display your content to operate the Service;
• Show your content to other registered Apollo Companion members;
• Resize or reformat images as needed for display across devices;
• Feature your content in builder spotlights, community highlights, or promotional materials within the Apollo Companion platform.

This license exists only for as long as your content remains on the platform. When you delete a post or image, the license ends for that content. Residual copies in backups are purged within 90 days of deletion, consistent with our Data Deletion Policy.

4. Your Representations

By submitting UGC, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have the right to share it;
• The content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other right of any third party;
• You have obtained consent from any identifiable people who appear in your content;
• The content complies with our Community Guidelines.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not submit UGC that:

• Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right;
• Depicts unsafe driving, street racing, or illegal vehicle operation;
• Contains harassment, hate speech, or targeted threats;
• Is sexually explicit;
• Reveals another person's private information without their consent (license plates, home addresses, financial data, etc.);
• Misrepresents the origin or authenticity of a build (posting someone else's work as your own);
• Violates any applicable law.

Content that violates these rules may be removed without notice. Accounts that repeatedly violate this policy may be suspended or permanently removed.

6. Content Removal by You

You may delete your own posts and images at any time from within the app. Deleted content is removed from public view immediately. Your profile photos and banner can be replaced by uploading new images. We cannot guarantee that content copied or downloaded by other users before deletion can be recovered or removed from their devices.

7. DMCA Copyright Takedown Procedure

Apollo Phoenix Ventures LLC respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Our designated DMCA agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (Registration No. DMCA-1074310).

If you believe content on Apollo Companion infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice through the in-app DMCA form (available on any community post) or by emailing apollocompanionsupport@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice."

Your notice must include:

• Your full legal name and contact information (email, physical address, phone);
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
• The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content on Apollo Companion;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

False notices. Submitting a false or bad-faith DMCA takedown notice may result in legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including liability for damages, costs, and attorneys' fees.

8. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to apollocompanionsupport@gmail.com including:

• Your full legal name and contact information;
• Identification of the content that was removed and its former location;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
• Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, and agreement to accept service of process from the complaining party;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

9. Repeat Infringers

Apollo Phoenix Ventures LLC will terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).

10. Parts Pricing Data

Parts prices and product images displayed in the Parts Hub are sourced from publicly available third-party web pages at the user's request. Apollo Phoenix Ventures LLC does not claim ownership of that data. If you are a rights holder and believe our scraping of your content is unauthorized, contact us at apollocompanionsupport@gmail.com.
